To aid cooperation between businesses and the knowledge base, Yorkshire Forward has invested over £11million in the creation of a network of Centres of Industrial Collaboration (CICs). The accredited Centres represent the very latest technologies, and cover a variety of disciplines ranging from medical technologies, advanced materials, through product design and manufacturing, to environmental sciences and digital technology.
Additionally, to further develop specific key technologies a series of world class centres for excellence have been established, and access to these is provided via Technology Transfer programmes.
